TRUMP Memecoin Competition Concludes With NFT Rewards and Future Loyalty Program Teased

The competition for the TRUMP meme coin has officially ended. The top 220 leaderboard participants will receive information regarding an exclusive dinner with President Trump, which will occur in 10 days at Trump National Golf Club. All competition participants will receive NFTs as rewards, with top performers earning additional and limited-edition “Diamond Hand” NFTs on the Solana blockchain, provided they do not sell their tokens before the dinner event. In total, buyers spent an estimated $148 million trying to qualify for the dinner invite, leading to significant price volatility for the TRUMP token, which soared to an all-time high of $73 before dropping back to $12.63. The organizers also announced the start of a TRUMP Rewards Points Program for ongoing loyal holders, with further details about the next era of TRUMP to be revealed at the dinner.

The event attracted substantial attention and controversy, including accusations of corruption, political misconduct, and warnings about the token's supply concentration—reportedly, two companies linked to Trump control about 80% of the total TRUMP token supply, mostly locked to vest over the next three years. Despite the criticism and regulatory scrutiny, market enthusiasm led to a near 50% gain in the token’s price over the past month, with more than $1 billion in cumulative gains and high volatility throughout. The promise of future rewards and retention incentives aims to prevent a rapid selloff after the contest’s conclusion.
