today / 00:02

Floki's flagship metaverse game Valhalla has announced its first major tournament, featuring a $75,000 prize pool entirely paid in FLOKI tokens. The global competition, structured as three concurrent single-elimination bracket tournaments running every two months, will pit players in strategic 3v3 battles using Norse-inspired creatures called Veras.

Participants enter through a qualification phase where victories earn points, with the top 64 scorers advancing to the Main Event based on ELO rankings if tied. The championship bracket features six elimination rounds with strict rules including shortened turn times. Prize distribution includes $25,000 for the champion, $10,000 for second place, descending to $200 for 33rd-64th place finishers.

Valhalla, which launched on Mainnet June 30, 2025, is a blockchain-based MMORPG featuring a player-driven economy and hexagonal battlefields. The tournament aims to spotlight top players in Floki's ecosystem, with signup details expected soon via wiki.valhalla.game.
