Queens Park Rangers Football Club (QPR) has entered a multi-year sponsorship agreement with TokenFi, positioning the asset tokenization platform as its Official Partner and Training Kit Sleeve Sponsor for the 2025-2026 EFL Championship season. The deal includes prominent branding across QPR's training gear and Loftus Road Stadium, alongside digital activations like email campaigns and matchday graphics to introduce tokenization concepts to fans.
Critically, the partnership will explore tokenizing club assets, potentially enabling supporters to own digital stakes in exclusive merchandise, memorabilia, and other properties. QPR Commercial Director Euan Inglis emphasized this as a "transformative moment" to redefine fan engagement through blockchain innovation. TokenFi's sister projects—Floki (FLOKI) and Valhalla—are slated for future integration, with Floki potentially powering fan rewards programs and Valhalla enabling gamified experiences.
Pedro Vidal, Floki's Community Relations Officer, stated: "We're empowering fans to own a piece of QPR's journey while driving innovation." The collaboration allows expanded ties in the 2026-2027 season, though execution challenges remain amid historical skepticism toward crypto sports partnerships.
