Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has opened a 3x leveraged short position on Kanye West's newly launched meme coin YZY at $0.8524, currently sitting on approximately $16,000 in profits as the token trades around $0.70. This winning trade stands in stark contrast to his overall disastrous trading record on Hyperliquid.

Lookonchain data reveals Tate has executed 80 trades with only 29 profitable positions, resulting in a 36.25% win rate and cumulative losses of $699,000. The analytics platform commented, "he doesn't seem to be good at perps trading," highlighting his consistent poor performance in perpetual futures trading.

The YZY token itself experienced extreme volatility after its Thursday launch on Solana, spiking 1,400% within the first hour before dropping over 74%. The top 13 wallets profited a total of $24.5 million as they dumped the token shortly after launch.

This pattern continues Tate's history with questionable meme coin projects. Despite once claiming "I will never endorse any crypto. Why would I damage my fans?" he reversed course on June 7, 2024, by promoting over 10 different Solana meme tokens. Most collapsed by 99% shortly after his endorsement, including GER (Germany Token), FTRISTAN (Fuck Tristan), TOPG, RNT, ROOST, and his own DADDY token. Multiple investigations revealed insider allocations of up to 30% in these projects, with TOPG reaching over $300 million in trading volume before crashing to zero.
