Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has revealed details of a significant meeting with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and other blockchain leaders, including Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, and Ilya from Near Protocol. During his latest AMA session, Hoskinson described the conversation as "great" and expressed enthusiasm about potential collaboration between Cardano and Ripple.

Key developments include confirmation that Cardano's Lace wallet will add support for XRP by the end of 2024, marking a concrete step toward integration. Hoskinson further teased the possibility of a joint event with XRP community leaders, potentially including attorney and XRP advocate John E. Deaton, who responded that it would be "an honor and a pleasure" to participate.

The timing coincides with notable market achievements for both projects. Cardano ranked first in global sentiment rankings with 88.9% bullish responses, while XRP entered the top 100 assets worldwide by market capitalization, placing it alongside major companies like Shopify and Deutsche Telekom. XRP also maintained strong community sentiment at 84.7%.

Hoskinson also shared his vision for a $50 trillion global market enabled by blockchain technology, noting that real-world assets already represent approximately $15 trillion of this potential market. He emphasized how automated compliance and privacy tools could create interconnected, 24/7 markets with increased liquidity and transaction volume.
