Samsung has announced a strategic partnership with Galeon, a Web3 health tech firm, to combine AI-powered ultrasound systems with a decentralized electronic health record (EHR) platform. The collaboration, revealed on September 23, 2025, leverages blockchain technology to enhance data privacy and accessibility in healthcare. Galeon's EHR is already operational in 18 hospitals across France, including Rouen University Hospital and Caen University Hospital, serving over 10,000 caregivers monthly.

The integration uses Blockchain Swarm Learning (BSL) to train AI models on anonymized, encrypted data without centralizing sensitive information. Loïc Brotons, CEO of Galeon, emphasized that "the data itself is not stored on-chain; only the AI algorithm operates on-chain with full traceability." This approach reduces paperwork by up to 30% and improves billing accuracy, as reported by pilot hospitals. Samsung's hardware expertise complements Galeon's software, enabling real-time data analysis for conditions like heart disease.

Galeon's ecosystem includes a native token and a DAO with 100,000 members funding medical research. The partnership addresses global healthcare challenges like data silos and privacy regulations, positioning it as a model for ethical AI adoption.
