AI16Z Rebrands to ElizaOS with Binance Support, Token Price Surges 27%

yesterday / 15:44

The meme coin AI16Z is undergoing a major rebrand to ElizaOS, backed by Binance, with the token swap scheduled for November 6, 2025. This move aims to distance the project from the venture capital firm a16z and transition into a more scalable AI-powered platform. Binance will support the conversion at a 1:6 ratio, temporarily pausing trading on Binance Alpha 2.0 and Binance Futures from 10:00 UTC on November 6 to facilitate the swap.

Following the transition, trading for the new ELIZAOS token will resume at 02:00 UTC on November 7. The total supply will increase from 6.6 billion to 11 billion tokens, with circulating supply rising to 7.4 billion. On Binance Futures, all open AI16ZUSDT perpetual contracts will be automatically closed and settled at 09:00 UTC on November 6, with no Futures Insurance Fund support during the final hour before settlement.

The announcement triggered a 27% price surge in the past 24 hours and a 34% gain over the last seven days, though year-to-date losses remain steep at 95%. At its peak, AI16Z reached a market cap of $2.6 billion, but it currently stands at around $86 million. Technical analysis indicates accelerating positive momentum, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) climbing above the 14-day moving average, suggesting potential for a breakout above $0.10 that could lead to targets of $0.20 or even $0.32—a 339% upside if bullish trends persist.

ElizaOS has evolved from an AI agent into a platform for creating, tokenizing, and marketing AI agents, aiming to compete with leaders like Virtuals Protocol. The rebrand, inspired by the 1960s ELIZA chatbot, enhances interoperability across blockchains such as Solana, Base, and Ethereum, positioning it as a cross-chain utility token within the $20 billion AI ecosystem.
