Florida-based real estate investment firm Cardone Capital, led by founder Grant Cardone, has significantly increased its exposure to Bitcoin (BTC) with a total purchase of $72 million in October and November 2025. This includes $52 million acquired in October and an additional $22 million in November, as part of its Boca Bitcoin Hybrid Fund expansion.

The strategy involves a hybrid system where the firm buys real estate properties and reinvests a portion of the cash flows from rental income into Bitcoin. This approach is designed as a long-term hedge against USD inflation, with plans to allocate 15% to 50% of investment capital to BTC. Cardone highlighted the potential to raise up to $504 million by selling some condos to further boost Bitcoin exposure.

This move mirrors Michael Saylor's treasury strategy, which has yielded billions in profits. However, the sector faces short-term headwinds, including mNAV (market-to-net-asset-value) discounts that have capped Bitcoin strategies and forced some firms to sell crypto holdings for share buybacks. Institutional demand, including ETFs, declined below miner supply in Q4 for the first time since March, contributing to BTC slipping below $110,000.

Reacting to the news, Charles Edwards, Founder of Capriole Investments, stated, "Won’t lie, this was the main metric keeping me bullish the last months while every other asset outperformed Bitcoin." Analysts project extended consolidation before a potential upward move, underscoring the uncertainty of whether new BTC treasury bets will replicate Saylor's success amid current challenges.
