Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its support for the upcoming network upgrade and hard fork on the Injective (INJ) blockchain. The exchange will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of INJ tokens starting at 21:00 on November 11, 2025, to accommodate the upgrade process.
The Injective team is scheduled to initiate the upgrade at block height 141,150,000, approximately at 22:00 on November 11, 2025. During this period, the network may experience brief outages, but INJ token trading on Binance will remain unaffected. Binance will reopen deposit and withdrawal services once network stability and security are confirmed, without issuing a separate announcement, and advises users to complete any urgent transactions beforehand.
This upgrade aims to enhance Injective's performance as a Layer-1 blockchain, providing high-speed, low-cost, and scalable solutions for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. Binance has a history of supporting similar network upgrades for projects like Solana, Avalanche, and Cosmos, underscoring its commitment to ecosystem development.
