South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has announced temporary suspensions of deposit and withdrawal services for Berachain (BERA) and Zilliqa (ZIL) tokens to facilitate major network upgrades, ensuring enhanced security and performance for users.

For Berachain (BERA), the suspension begins at 9:00 a.m. UTC on November 12, 2025, to support a mainnet upgrade aimed at improving transaction speed, security features, scalability, and functionality. During this period, users cannot deposit or withdraw BERA tokens, but trading pairs will remain active. Bithumb has not specified an exact end time, though similar maintenance typically lasts several hours to a full day.

For Zilliqa (ZIL), the suspension starts at 2:00 a.m. UTC on November 17, 2025, for a network upgrade expected to enhance transaction efficiency, security protocols, smart contract capabilities, and overall stability. ZIL trading will continue uninterrupted, with deposits and withdrawals halted temporarily.

Bithumb emphasizes that user funds remain secure during these upgrades and advises completing urgent transactions before the suspension times. The exchange will provide updates via official channels once services resume, reflecting their commitment to reliable operations during blockchain innovations.
