Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has disclosed planned temporary suspensions for deposits and withdrawals of specific tokens to implement essential network upgrades and maintenance. These measures are designed to enhance security, improve functionality, and ensure compatibility with blockchain developments.

For the GAL token, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits via the Ethereum ERC-20 network starting at 3:00 a.m. UTC on November 19. This affects only deposits; withdrawals and trading of GAL will continue uninterrupted. Users can utilize alternative supported networks for GAL transfers during this period. The suspension is part of routine maintenance, with no specified end date, but similar pauses typically last from hours to days.

For Ethereum (ETH), Binance will halt deposits and withdrawals in two phases: first at 5:55 a.m. UTC on November 26 for wallet maintenance, and again at 9:45 p.m. UTC on December 3 to support a major network upgrade and hard fork. ETH trading on spot and margin markets will remain operational, and other cryptocurrencies are unaffected. These upgrades aim to boost transaction speed, security, and system optimization.

Binance assures users that funds remain secure during these suspensions and recommends monitoring official channels for restoration updates. The exchange's proactive approach aligns with industry best practices for maintaining robust infrastructure.
