YoungHoon Kim, widely promoted as the world's smartest man with a claimed IQ of 276, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin could reach $220,000 within the next 45 days. He announced this on November 16, 2025, in response to a Grok AI projection that Bitcoin might hit $175,000 by year-end, with BTC currently trading around $95,400.

Kim, the 36-year-old South Korean founder of the United Sigma Intelligence Association, stated that a move toward $220,000 entering early 2026 is not only possible but likely. He added that if the prediction materializes, he would use 100% of his Bitcoin profits to build churches for Jesus Christ in every nation. This isn't his first optimistic forecast; on September 29, he claimed to have converted all his assets into Bitcoin, expecting a 100x appreciation over the next decade, potentially pushing BTC above $10 million, and argued Bitcoin will become the ultimate reserve asset, surpassing gold and traditional currencies.

However, many market participants and Bitcoin bulls are skeptical of this short-term target. Over the last 41 days, the crypto market has erased $1.1 trillion in market capitalization, with Bitcoin alone losing over $400 billion. Institutional outflows began in mid-to-late October, and in the first week of November, crypto funds saw $1.2 billion in outflows, leading to increased liquidations—three days in the last 16 saw over $1 billion in liquidations, with $500+ million becoming common.

Arthur Azizov, Founder and Investor at B2 Ventures, highlighted that Bitcoin's drop below $100,000 confirmed a descending channel since mid-October. He warned that if selling pressure continues, Bitcoin could fall to support levels of $89,000–$94,000 or even $72,000–$74,000, the latter being where a previous bullish impulse started. Despite the downturn, Azizov views the current price action as a healthy consolidation, with recovery chances still existing but decreasing daily.
