CreatorFi, a financing platform developed by Insomnia Labs, has announced a strategic partnership with Aptos Foundation and Aptos Labs, including $2 million in funding to accelerate its growth. The platform, designed to provide working capital to digital creators across YouTube, music, and gaming platforms like Roblox, will now operate on the Aptos blockchain, leveraging its native USDC support and low transaction fees.

This collaboration enables CreatorFi to offer stablecoin-based lending, with loans issued and repaid in USDC, reducing reliance on traditional fiat systems. The platform uses machine-learning models to underwrite assets such as YouTube channels and music catalogs, assessing risk based on creator data and behavioral patterns. Repayments occur in real time, minimizing risk for liquidity providers.

"Partnering with Aptos Foundation and Aptos Labs allows us to scale this mission on a blockchain that shares our vision for on-chain finance, stablecoin-powered transactions, and real economic activity," said Jack Cameron, Chief Business Officer and co-founder of CreatorFi. Ash Pampati of Aptos Foundation highlighted that CreatorFi addresses a historically underserved market, with the potential to introduce billions of impressions to the Aptos ecosystem.

Key highlights include a scalable warehouse facility of $25 million, expandable to $100 million, and the use of Aptos' cross-chain protocols for seamless fiat on-/off-ramps. This initiative aims to benefit creators in regions with high FX conversion fees, exceeding 70% in some cases, by enabling faster, cost-effective global payments.
