Pi Network has announced a strategic partnership with CiDi Games, a gaming platform focused on Web3 innovations, aimed at enhancing the utility and scalability of the Pi ecosystem. This collaboration includes an investment from Pi Network Ventures, signaling a committed push into the gaming sector, which aligns with Pi's broader objectives of expanding real-world applications.

The partnership will see CiDi Games developing a library of Pi-integrated games and a lightweight H5 Game Platform for casual games, designed to engage Pi's global user base of tens of millions. Pi will serve as a central medium for payments, incentives, and in-game transactions, supported by an open framework that includes APIs and integration resources to ease developer onboarding. Initial product testing is scheduled for Q1 2026.

Currently, Pi (PI) is trading around $0.25 to $0.27, with recent growth of 2.09% to over 7% in 24 hours, and a trading volume of approximately $40 million to $45 million. The token has been available on exchanges like Bitget and OKX since its Open Mainnet launch on February 20, 2025. Analysts, including Dr Altcoin, have noted that this partnership could help Pi break key resistance levels, potentially pushing it toward the $1 mark, though it depends on traction from gaming adoption.

This move builds on Pi's existing gaming initiatives, such as hackathons, incubation programs, and tools like the Pi SDK and Pi Ad Network, reinforcing the ecosystem's growth through increased engagement and developer support.
