On December 3, 2025, Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Mantle, a high-performance Layer-2 network, and Aave, the leading decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, announced a strategic partnership facilitated by TokenLogic. This collaboration aims to advance DeFi accessibility and unlock new onchain liquidity channels globally by deploying Aave on Mantle Network.

Aave will launch on Mantle Network, an EVM-compatible Layer-2 built for institutional-grade applications and real-world assets (RWA). This integration enables users to supply, borrow, and access tokenized assets within Mantle's growing DeFi, RWA, stablecoin, and restaking ecosystems. Bybit will act as the Global Liquidity Bridge, strengthening pathways between centralized and decentralized venues, with future plans for asset listings and on-chain earn products, pending regulatory approval.

The partnership includes the introduction of MNT-based yield incentive programs within Aave pools to reward early participation and enhance liquidity. Mantle boasts over $4 billion in community-owned assets, while Aave has $55 billion in deposits and $23 billion in active loans. Bybit's infrastructure provides connectivity for its over 70 million users worldwide, bridging centralized liquidity with onchain DeFi markets.

Key executives emphasized the impact: Emily Bao, Key Advisor at Mantle, stated, "This partnership represents a major step toward making decentralized finance truly scalable and globally accessible." Stani Kulechov, Founder of Aave Labs, added, "This integration makes transparent, onchain finance available at global scale for institutions worldwide." Matthew Graham, CEO of TokenLogic, highlighted it as a milestone for expanding DeFi across high-throughput networks.
