Recent analysis from crypto enthusiasts has projected ambitious price targets for XRP, with analyst @unkownDLT claiming the cryptocurrency must reach $1,000 to effectively serve in global settlement and collateral markets. He argues that this target is not speculative but based on utility, as capturing 5-10% of the global value transfer market would require a high valuation to prevent blockchain supply shortages and handle trillions in daily transaction volumes.

@unkownDLT emphasized that XRP has yet to experience price discovery, setting a target above $3.4 for this phase, driven by new market conditions like institutional inflows, regulatory clarity, ETFs, and distributed ledger adoption. He described XRP as a universal clearing layer for tokenized value settlement across digital financial systems.

In a separate scenario, pundit Rob Cunningham outlined how Ripple could achieve a $7 trillion valuation if XRP's price rallies to $250. At this price, Ripple's holdings of 17 billion XRP would account for $4.25 trillion, making the company 6.6x more valuable than Visa and 8.6x more valuable than Mastercard.

Cunningham highlighted contributing factors including the passage of the CLARITY Act, U.S. Treasury approval of Ripple's business, and the adoption of RLUSD and XRP as default U.S. dollar rails globally. RLUSD, with a $1 billion market cap and $95 billion in payment volume, is seen as key to this ecosystem. He noted that markets might apply a 60-80% discount to Ripple's valuation due to concentration risks and political factors like windfall taxes.
