Global brokerage firm Exness has officially opened a new regional office in Cape Town, South Africa, marking a significant step in its long-term commitment to the Sub-Saharan Africa region. The move comes as fintech innovation accelerates across the continent and more traders seek access to global markets.

The Cape Town hub will serve as the operational center for Exness's activities in South Africa and the wider Sub-Saharan Africa region. Staffed by local professionals, the office is designed to deliver regional insights while maintaining global service standards, allowing the company to better adapt to local market dynamics, trading behavior, and regulatory expectations.

Exness executives emphasized that partnerships remain central to their growth strategy in the region. Nima Siar, Head of Partnership and Business Development Initiatives at Exness, explained the company offers two main partnership pathways: an Introducing Broker program with a revenue share model for educators and community leaders, and an Affiliate Program with a Cost Per Action (CPA) model for digital content creators and traffic generators.

The expansion is supported by Exness's regulatory credentials in the region, including a Financial Services Provider (FSP) license and an Over-the-Counter Derivative Provider (ODP) license in South Africa, as well as a Capital Markets Authority (CMA) license in Kenya. Company leadership views regulation as essential for building trust and supporting long-term growth in markets where unlicensed brokers have historically focused on short-term gains.

Petr Valov, Exness co-founder and CEO, called the office opening "a new chapter for Exness, one that involves innovation and regional growth." Paul Margarites, Exness Regional Commercial Director, added that the physical presence reflects the company's long-term commitment to traders in the region.

The launch was marked by events bringing together executives, partners, media, and creators, reflecting Exness's brand-led approach to regional engagement. The company sees South Africa's sophisticated financial infrastructure, deep talent pool, and growing culture of digital finance adoption as making it a natural gateway for regional expansion.
