Crypto.com has announced two significant updates to its platform aimed at expanding user participation and enhancing value for its community. The first is a major update to its App Referral feature, designed to make it easier for users to earn and track CRO rewards by inviting friends to join the Crypto.com App.
The updated referral system allows users to earn up to US$100 in CRO for every successfully referred friend. It introduces a dedicated dashboard for tracking referrals, earnings milestones, and total CRO rewards. A key innovation is trading-based earning, where CRO rewards increase based on the trading volume generated by referred users, allowing for smoother reward accumulation. The feature also provides more personalized ways to share referral codes across supported channels.

President and COO Eric Anziani added, "The App Referral feature update enables users to participate more directly in the growth of the Crypto.com ecosystem while earning CRO rewards tied to referral activity."
Simultaneously, Crypto.com has completely overhauled its "Level Up" benefits program, positioning it as a leading all-in-one financial ecosystem. The new program introduces three subscription tiers – Plus (US$4.99/month), Pro (US$29.99/month), and Private – alongside a free Basic tier.
The overhaul integrates the former Rewards+ system and removes high trading volume requirements for elevated Earn bonuses. Key features across tiers include: zero trading fees* for over 400 crypto assets (with monthly limits), zero-commission stock trading, up to 6% back in CRO on card purchases, up to 5% APY on cash balances, and up to 9.5% CRO staking rewards. The Private tier requires staking $50K or $500K in CRO for 12 months and offers unlimited zero-fee trading volume.
CEO Kris Marszalek emphasized the role of CRO, stating, "CRO is one of the top performing tokens globally and deserves an equally compelling rewards program... We expect this Level Up upgrade to result in a massive increase in the number of CRO holders globally – to the tune of millions of new users." The program aims to merge traditional finance tools with on-chain economics, offering benefits like airport lounge access in higher tiers.
