Kled AI Founder Accuses Believe Co-Founder of Secretly Dumping Millions in KLED Tokens, Violating Agreements

Kled AI founder Avi Patel has publicly accused Ben Pasternak, co-founder of the token launchpad platform Believe, of repeatedly selling millions of $KLED tokens on the open market during critical project milestones, violating prior private agreements. According to Patel's detailed post, Pasternak originally held approximately 6% of the $KLED token supply as part of an early fee agreement with the project. This allocation stemmed from Pasternak receiving "half the fees" from original Believe launches like Kled, which were paid in the project's native token.

Patel alleges that Pasternak privately committed to not selling these tokens on the public market, agreeing instead to use over-the-counter (OTC) transactions or burn tokens if liquidity was needed. This understanding reportedly "fell apart." Over the past week, on-chain data cited by Patel shows Pasternak engaged in "market selling millions of $KLED tokens via DCA (every second of the day)." These sales occurred during Kled's largest app update to date and in a bear market environment, exacerbating the negative impact.

The Kled CEO claims initial attempts to negotiate OTC pricing broke down multiple times, and communication with Pasternak became virtually nonexistent. This forced the Kled team into frantic damage control to protect the token's price and holder confidence. At one point, Patel says they "were forced to OTC his position at an approximately $27 million valuation," reducing Pasternak's holdings from about 6% to around 3.5% of the supply.

However, the sales allegedly continued. Patel states that Pasternak, who had reportedly "refused to sell the remainder, stating he wanted to 'wait it out,'" resumed "market selling $KLED again, despite repeated assurances that he would never do so." Patel's total accusations suggest Pasternak's position was reduced from 6% to about 1.7% through these activities.

This public dispute is part of a longer history of controversies between Patel and Believe's leadership. In July 2025, public clashes on social media saw Patel criticize Believe's support for the Kled community, while Pasternak questioned Patel's conduct, accusing him of deleting accounts and secretly selling $500,000 worth of tokens after $KLED's launch.

As of the latest reports, Pasternak has not offered a direct public rebuttal to Patel's detailed allegations. His last post on X was on October 20, 2025. Patel insists all communications are documented and states, "I will not engage further, regardless of any response from him or his team," calling the situation "the Believe team's clown show." He issued a stark warning to other builders: "No builder should ever work with him again if that was not already clear."
