Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have crossed a significant milestone, surpassing $1.02 billion in assets under management (AUM), according to data from analytics firm SoSoValue. This total represents approximately 1.4% of Solana's overall market capitalization, signaling growing institutional confidence in the high-performance blockchain through regulated investment vehicles.

Bitwise's BSOL fund is the dominant player, commanding $732 million in net assets and constituting nearly 72% of the total Solana ETF AUM. A key differentiator for BSOL is its integrated staking mechanism; the fund stakes Solana tokens internally and reinvests the rewards, aiming to provide investors with both price exposure and yield generation without the technical complexities.

Other major financial institutions are also participating in this growing market. Grayscale's Solana Trust (GSOL) holds about $167 million, followed by Fidelity's FSOL with approximately $122 million. VanEck's VSOL, while smaller, has seen steady inflows and manages around $28 million.

The momentum is backed by strong recent inflows. On a single day, U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded $16 million in net inflows, pushing cumulative inflows to $792 million. Daily trading volume across these products reached $43 million. The growth over the past year has been explosive, with data showing Solana-based fund inflows soaring 1000% to $3.6 billion in 2025, up from just $310 million in 2024.

Crossing the $1 billion threshold is a psychological and substantive achievement for Solana. It demonstrates that institutional investors are allocating substantial capital to the asset via regulated channels, moving it beyond a developer-focused platform to one with broader investment appeal. While still modest compared to Bitcoin ETFs, the rapid growth and participation from firms like Bitwise, Grayscale, and Fidelity underscore a positive trend for Solana's institutional adoption.
