BMIC (BMIC), a new cybersecurity platform focused on quantum-resistant technology for Web3, has launched its cryptocurrency presale. The project aims to address future security threats posed by quantum computing by building a holistic security stack designed to protect digital assets and identities.
The platform's core offering is a quantum-secure wallet that utilizes post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and ERC-4337-style smart accounts to eliminate public-key exposure, a known future vulnerability. The system integrates four layers: a quantum-native wallet, a Quantum Meta-Cloud for decentralized compute access, a blockchain assist layer for staking and governance, and an AI layer for continuous threat monitoring and optimization.
Tokenomics and Presale Details: The total supply of $BMIC tokens is capped at 1.5 billion. The presale allocation is 50% of the total supply, with tokens fully available at the Token Generation Event (TGE). The presale is structured across multiple price tiers, starting at $0.048485 and rising to $0.058182, representing a 20% increase for later participants. The project has set a hard cap of $40 million for the presale. Funds are earmarked for wallet deployment, security infrastructure, ecosystem growth, and global adoption.
Additional allocations include 10% for a private sale (locked for 12 months), 12% for staking rewards, 10% for liquidity, 9% for an ecosystem reserve, 6% for marketing, and 3% for the team (locked for 24 months).
The project positions itself not as a competitor to existing Layer-1 networks like Ethereum, but as an underlying security infrastructure. It also offers Quantum Security-as-a-Service for enterprises like banks and governments, allowing them to integrate quantum-secure custody and communications.
The launch comes amid a broader market context where Ethereum (ETH), after reaching a new all-time high near $4,900 in summer 2025, has retraced roughly 40%. Some analysts, like Crypto Patel, view Ethereum's current price zone between $1,800 and $2,900 as a long-term accumulation area, with a potential path toward $10,000 in 2026 and extended upside later. This analysis contrasts BMIC's early-stage, asymmetric opportunity with Ethereum's more mature, macro-dependent growth trajectory.
