Kintsu has launched a new curated DeFi yield product called SuperMON vaults, built around sMON on the Monad blockchain. The vault currently offers an aggregated strategy yield of 14.51% APY, aiming to help users earn more without managing complex strategies themselves. Users deposit MON tokens and receive SuperMON tokens in return, with the system handling all subsequent operations automatically.
The vault employs automated strategies across the entire Monad ecosystem, allocating funds to liquid staking, DEX liquidity pools, lending, and looping strategies. This backend automation allows users to gain diversified yield from a single deposit. The product is designed with Upshift, which powers the automation layer, and curated by Qualia, which guides strategy selection. Together, they have built a system that executes multiple strategies simultaneously, rotates between protocols when better opportunities arise, and automatically reinvests rewards, eliminating the need for manual rebalancing.
SuperMON allocates capital among leading Monad protocols including Kintsu, Uniswap, Morpho, Curvance, Euler, Kuru Exchange, and LFJ. This approach distributes risk across multiple platforms while capturing yield from several sources concurrently, effectively allowing one vault to replace many individual positions.
The reported 14.51% APY is generated by transforming the Monad ecosystem into a unified yield engine. Users earn from multiple parallel streams: sMON staking rewards, MEV yield directly from the network, incentives from partner protocols, as well as Kintsu Points and Upshift Points. The vault aggregates the yield from all deployed strategies, creating a compounded return model. It is important to note that this APY figure fluctuates based on market conditions and strategy performance.
Launched in December 2025, SuperMON has seen rapid growth, surpassing $100 million in Total Value Locked (TVL). This growth mirrors the accelerated adoption of the Monad mainnet, which launched in November 2025 and quickly became a high-activity EVM chain focused on high throughput and low fees, attracting DeFi developers and traders. Kintsu is positioning itself as a central DeFi layer on Monad with SuperMON offering a simple entry point to the ecosystem. The report concludes by reminding users that DeFi carries risks, including smart contract bugs and protocol failures, and that SuperMON, like all yield products, is not risk-free.
