Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has launched a new feature called AI Trading Skill. This tool allows users to execute trades, access market data, and manage their crypto assets using simple natural language commands through any major AI assistant, including ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and Windsurf.
The launch, announced on March 13th, 2026, represents a significant step toward agentic trading, where AI interprets user intent and executes actions seamlessly. A key feature is zero installation, requiring no Node Package Manager (NPM), Command Line Interface (CLI), Software Development Kit (SDK), or configuration files for users to get started instantly.
The system offers universal AI compatibility and 253 API endpoints, enabling users to chain commands, follow up with queries, and manage portfolios without using a traditional trading interface. It automatically updates alongside Bybit's platform to ensure access to the latest features.
Behind the conversational interface lies Bybit's complete trading ecosystem, organized into six modules:
Market Intelligence: Querying real-time prices, candle lines, order book depth, and funding rates.
Spot Trading: Executing market buy/sell, limit orders, and batch operations.
Derivatives Trading: Leverage trading, take-profit/stop-loss, and conditional orders.
Earn: Access to Flexible Savings and On-Chain Earn products.
Account & Assets: Managing account information, deposits, withdrawals, and currency conversion.
Advanced Features: Real-time tools via WebSocket streams, including margin lending, price differential trading, and RFQ pricing for options.
Bybit has embedded multiple security safeguards. New users are guided through testnet trading to experiment with AI commands in a simulated environment before using real funds. All live transactions require explicit user confirmation, and the Skill manages connections through secure API authentication, eliminating the need for users to manually configure sensitive credentials.
This launch builds on Bybit's previous AI initiatives, such as TradeGPT, and is positioned as the exchange's most comprehensive AI integration to date, aiming to set a new standard for intelligent trading experiences.
