Popular crypto analyst TARA has published a detailed Fibonacci-based roadmap projecting that XRP's price will eventually surpass $100, with a Cycle 5 peak target of $153. The framework, based on 0.618 extension targets applied to XRP's 12-month chart, outlines a series of progressively higher cycle peaks. Cycle 1, anchored by XRP's all-time high of $3.65 from July 2025, is considered complete. The subsequent cycles are projected as follows: Cycle 2 near $8.68, Cycle 3 around $22.50, and Cycle 4 at approximately $59. The pivotal $100 milestone is only forecasted to be reached in Cycle 5.
This long-term projection comes amid near-term market weakness, with XRP's price sliding 5% to around $1.43 on Wednesday due to broader market pullbacks and geopolitical tensions. However, market observers remain bullish on XRP's longer-term prospects, largely hinging on potential regulatory developments in the United States.
The primary catalyst for optimism is the anticipated passage of the CLARITY Act, a crypto market-structure bill currently in the US Congress. Analysts, including Sam Daodu of 24/7 Wall St., argue that the Act's passage would formally classify XRP as a digital commodity, placing it on similar regulatory footing as Bitcoin and Ethereum. This clarity is expected to remove a major barrier to institutional adoption by banks, asset managers, and payment providers using Ripple's payment rails.
Daodu cited forecasts from Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick, who has set a 2026 price target of $8 for XRP, premised on the CLARITY Act's passage. Kendrick's model anticipates $4 billion to $8 billion in cumulative ETF inflows by year-end if the bill becomes law. Consensus among many analysts places the XRP price between $5 and $10 should the legislation clear Congress. An $8 price would imply a market cap near $490 billion.
Further upside scenarios have been outlined. If the CLARITY Act is approved and Ripple secures a master account at the Federal Reserve by late 2026, some models project XRP could trade in a $15–$30 range under full bank adoption. The CLARITY Act passed the House in July 2025 and moved through the Senate Agriculture Committee in January. Pro-crypto Senator Cynthia Lummis recently indicated the Senate Banking Committee plans to mark up the bill in April, signaling renewed momentum.
