Real-World Assets (RWAs) are gaining significant traction in the cryptocurrency market, with a new ranking highlighting the top projects by market capitalization. LunarCrush, an AI-powered digital asset analytics platform, has released its list of the Top 15 RWA Projects, with Chainlink ($LINK) dominating the field.
According to the data, Chainlink leads with a Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) of $9.5 billion and a market capitalization of $6.9 billion, following a 7-day price increase of +4.9%. Stellar ($XLM) follows closely in second place with a $9.0 billion FDV, a market cap of $5.9 billion, and a strong weekly gain of +15.0%. The 10.1% difference in their weekly performance indicates sustained demand for both assets.
The ranking, shared by analytics firm Phoenix, places Tether Gold ($XAUT) and PAX Gold ($PAXG) in third and fourth positions, with FDVs of $3.3 billion and $2.3 billion, respectively, though both saw minor weekly price declines. Ondo Finance ($ONDO) and Quant ($QNT) also feature prominently, with ONDO showing a +7.6% weekly gain and a $2.7 billion FDV.
Further down the list, VeChain ($VET), XDC Network ($XDC), Injective ($INJ), and Maple ($MPL) show positive momentum. Notably, Pendle ($PENDLE) recorded an impressive +30.5% weekly price change. The list is rounded out by Centrifuge ($CFG), Polymesh ($POLYX), Mantra ($OM), and Goldfinch ($GFI), the latter of which jumped +15.0%.
Analyst Tim Warren, in a separate commentary, suggests this activity is part of a broader "RWA Supercycle." He notes that while retail interest may be waning, major institutions like BlackRock, JPMorgan, DTCC, and Goldman Sachs are positioning for a massive move into tokenizing traditional assets such as U.S. treasuries, real estate, and bonds. Warren emphasizes that regulatory clarity could unlock trillions of dollars in capital flow.
Warren identifies Chainlink as the critical infrastructure layer for this shift, providing secure data oracles and cross-chain capabilities via its CCIP system. He also highlights Ondo Finance for its on-chain treasury products, Hedera (HBAR) for enterprise-grade infrastructure, and Ethereum (ETH) as the core settlement layer for most RWA activity. The privacy-focused Canton Network is also noted as a key player for institutional adoption.
