DePIN pioneer XYO has unveiled the XYO AI SDK, a developer toolkit that allows creators using AI coding environments like Claude and Codex to build applications directly on XYO Layer One without writing any Solidity or understanding blockchain internals.
Released on May 12, the toolkit marks the first time vibe coding—where developers describe intent and AI generates code—has been extended to a layer-one blockchain. XYO co-founder Markus Levin stated that products which once required teams of blockchain engineers and months of integration can now be built by a solo developer in an afternoon.
Alongside the SDK, XYO introduced XYO Data Lakes, a cryptographically secured storage system with on-chain proof of integrity designed to tackle the chain-of-custody problem behind AI hallucinations. This allows AI systems to train on data with verifiable provenance.
The launch targets the emerging AI agent economy by enabling autonomous agents to have wallets, verifiable identities, and auditable on-chain decision records. XYO operates over 10 million nodes and has processed more than 100 billion data queries since 2018. The toolkit is now open for early access.
