The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has officially launched the AirBit Victim Fund (AVF), a remission process to compensate individuals who suffered financial losses in the AirBit Club cryptocurrency fraud. RCB Fund Services LLC is serving as the Claims Administrator, and eligible victims can now submit petitions.
The AirBit Club scheme lured investors with false promises of guaranteed daily returns from crypto mining and trading. The AVF will calculate eligible losses using a 'cash-in, cash-out' method, subtracting any withdrawals from total funds or cryptocurrency used to purchase memberships. Fictitious profits will not be counted.
Petitions must be filed online at www.airbitvictimfund.com or postmarked by midnight on July 31, 2026. Victims can also request forms by phone or email. The fund only covers direct pecuniary losses; individuals who merely transferred funds for others are not eligible.
