Celestia (TIA) and Bittensor (TAO) are both showing early signs of recovery, driven by technical rebounds and major protocol changes. After months of persistent downtrends, TIA price has returned to a key reversal zone, while Bittensor’s newly launched Dynamic TAO upgrade is fundamentally rewiring how value flows through its subnets.
Celestia’s fragile base-building
Since mid-April, TIA has been respecting a rising trendline that produced multiple higher lows and higher highs – a classic early recovery pattern. Analysts now eye $0.56 as a near-term target, with $0.65 acting as critical resistance that has capped rallies since December 2025. A sustained breakout above $0.65 could open the door toward $1, though broader altcoin momentum and Bitcoin stability remain essential. Crypto analyst noncler mapped out longer-term reclaim zones at $9.2, $11.9, and above $21, suggesting that if modular infrastructure adoption accelerates, TIA could eventually revisit all-time highs near $20.
The network’s Matcha upgrade increased block capacity to 128MB, but actual fee revenue depends on developer uptake. Supply dynamics have improved: the Lotus and Matcha upgrades structurally reduced token emissions, and high staking participation (over 60% of circulating TIA locked) could further tighten liquid supply. Competition from Ethereum blobs, EigenDA, and Avail remains a headwind, however.
Dynamic TAO rewires Bittensor
Bittensor went live with its Dynamic TAO upgrade on May 25, replacing the fixed emission model with a real-time competitive system. Now 67 subnets compete for stake allocations, and capital can rotate instantly without unstaking delays. As analyst aixbt noted, subnet demand may now diverge from TAO’s spot price, with top-performing subnets potentially absorbing over 80% of total emissions within six months. This creates an “economic filter” where efficient subnets attract capital while weak ones decline quickly.
On the chart, TAO bounced from the lower boundary of its ascending channel and broke above $284 resistance. If $310 is reclaimed, the next target sits at $334. However, the Dynamic TAO restructuring means that on-chain metrics – especially week-over-week stake flows – could become a more reliable indicator of network health than price alone.
