Nexchain, the AI-native Layer 1 blockchain, has released a roadmap update detailing its progression through key development phases as the project approaches its scheduled mainnet preparation in Q3 2026. The update highlights completed milestones, current AI tools integration work, and the final opportunity for presale participation at the $0.06 bonus price, with the token generation event planned for Q4 2026 at a target price of $0.30.
According to the roadmap, Nexchain has already completed several foundational stages. In Q1 2025, the team assembled contributors and defined technical priorities. Q2 2025 saw token deployment, community access, and a completed third-party security audit. The beta testnet went live in Q3 2025, offering a block explorer, faucet, and developer onboarding. An advanced testnet followed in Q4 2025, featuring an AI transaction risk prototype and end-to-end wallet testing.
Q1 2026 focused on infrastructure scaling, preparing nodes and explorer services for production workloads. Now, in Q2 2026, the project has entered its AI Tools Integration phase. Nexchain is embedding AI-powered risk signals directly into wallet and application interfaces. These signals will alert users to potential risks before transactions are finalized. Monitoring and optimization tools are also being deployed, with the first ecosystem integration pilots testing application connections and technical performance.
“The roadmap moves the conversation beyond fundraising and places greater attention on product development and ecosystem readiness,” a project representative stated. Nexchain has raised over $17 million during its presale, with the token’s price fixed at $0.06 for the final round. At launch, NEX is expected to list at $0.30, representing a 400% return for presale participants.
Technically, Nexchain combines Proof-of-Stake consensus with AI-driven optimization to deliver up to 400,000 transactions per second at an estimated fee of $0.001 per transfer. The network employs sharding, directed acyclic graph (DAG) architecture, and cross-chain bridges. AI capabilities extend to smart contracts and configurable modules for decentralized applications across DeFi, healthcare, supply chain, IoT, and digital content.
The NEX token will power multiple network functions: transaction fees, staking, governance, validator incentives, and payments for AI services. Mainnet preparation is slated for Q3 2026, including security reviews, expanded developer documentation, and partner onboarding. The full network launch and Token Generation Event are scheduled for Q4 2026, when staking and on-chain governance will go live.
As crypto presales pivot toward projects with demonstrable development progress, Nexchain’s structured roadmap offers investors a clearer view of its path from testnet to a production-ready blockchain environment.
