Gibraltar is set to host the inaugural Prediction Markets Summit Europe on 9–10 November 2026, marking the continent’s first dedicated gathering for the prediction markets industry. Produced by Eventus International, the summit will convene global regulators, platform operators, institutional investors, legal experts, and technology leaders for high-level discussions on the sector’s future.
The event follows Gibraltar’s issuance of its first prediction market licence in March 2026 under the Gambling Act 2005, an early regulatory framework in Europe. The jurisdiction’s removal from the FATF grey list in 2024 and the introduction of a new Gambling Bill have solidified a compliant environment. The Hon Nigel Feetham KC MP, Gibraltar’s Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, will deliver the opening address, emphasizing the government’s commitment to attracting credible, regulated operators.
The agenda will tackle regulatory classification under MiCA, blockchain and AI’s role in market integrity, cross-border licensing, and the commercial outlook for prediction markets as an emerging asset class. A pre-summit LinkedIn Live webinar on 22 July 2026 will preview themes of classification, trust, and responsible growth. The summit kicks off with an invitation-only networking reception on 9 November, followed by the main conference on 10 November. For stakeholders, this event offers early engagement with a live regulatory framework and a chance to shape the industry’s direction in Europe.
