Ethereum is showing renewed strength against Bitcoin after reclaiming its bull market support band and breaking a long-term downtrend, according to analysts. The ETH/BTC pair has moved above its descending trendline, signaling a potential shift in momentum.
Analyst MikybullCrypto noted that Ethereum reclaimed its weekly bull market support band against Bitcoin, a move that may indicate ETH entering a period of relative strength after months of underperformance. The weekly RSI has recovered toward 50, and holding above the support band could confirm the breakout, targeting 0.031 BTC and 0.035 BTC resistance levels. However, a weekly close back below the breakout area would weaken the case for outperformance.
Fellow analyst Daan Crypto Trades highlighted that Ethereum closed above its weekly bull market support band for the first time since late 2025 and is attempting to break the descending channel. A sustained move above 0.03 BTC would confirm stronger follow-through, opening the way toward 0.032 BTC and 0.034 BTC. Failure to hold could see a drop back to 0.0287 BTC support, with a further risk of 0.0262 BTC.
