XRP Ledger's real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with the number of unique RWA holders climbing 25.16% over the past 30 days. This growth follows Ripple’s recent investments in two companies aimed at advancing the XRP Ledger infrastructure and institutional adoption of tokenized assets.
The surge is part of Ripple's broader strategy to position XRP Ledger as a leading platform for institutional finance and asset tokenization. Data also reveals that over 1,000 developers and businesses are currently building on the network, drawn by its enterprise-grade reliability, scalability, and low-cost transactions.
However, the stablecoin market on XRP Ledger presented a mixed picture. While the number of stablecoin holders saw a modest 0.92% increase to more than 60,240 addresses, the total stablecoin market capitalization contracted by 9.04% to $901.4 million during the same period. This divergence highlights that while RWA tokenization gains traction, stablecoin adoption on the ledger has not yet caught up.
