Zebec Network Integrates Solstice's USX for Yield-Bearing Payroll

Key takeaways:

  • Zebec's $500 million payroll volume can bootstrap USX liquidity, signaling stablecoin utility beyond speculation.
  • Yield-bearing idle balances could attract enterprise funds to Solana, supporting SOL demand.
  • Investors should monitor USX supply growth and regulatory treatment of yield-bearing stablecoins as adoption risk.

Zebec Network, an onchain payroll and payments platform, has partnered with Solstice Finance to integrate the Solana-based stablecoin USX into its payroll ecosystem. The agreement, announced on August 13, 2026, aims to turn idle prefunded payroll balances into yield-bearing assets for enterprises using Zebec's infrastructure.

According to the announcement, USX will be added to Zebec's payroll network, which processes more than $500 million in annual payroll volume and serves over 50,000 monthly active users. Enterprises that top up payroll balances onchain can earn rewards through Solstice's USX rewards programme during the holding window before payouts. Employees and contractors can receive USX directly to a debit card, spend it in the real world, or withdraw to a wallet.

USX is issued by Solstice Finance and backed by hedged positions across BTC, ETH, SOL, other highly liquid assets, major stablecoins, and tokenised treasuries. The integration will roll out across Zebec's payroll infrastructure and the Zebec Super App without requiring enterprises to move funds into separate products or change their behaviour.

Solstice Finance CEO Ben Nadareski said, "Most onchain payroll has a dead-dollar problem. Enterprises top up payroll balances, and those balances just sit there till payday, earning nothing. USX turns that gap into a yield window." Zebec Network CEO Simon Babakhani added that the integration brings "earning capabilities directly into the payroll experience."
