A dormant wallet returned to crypto markets after roughly one year away, deploying more than $2 million across major altcoins while keeping substantial stablecoin reserves for further moves. According to a Nazoku post highlighting trader 0xdd7, the disclosed purchases included AAVE, AVAX, LINK, ETH and BNB, with visible transactions totaling about $1.59 million and additional activity likely accounting for the difference.
The wallet’s allocations spanned several crypto sectors. AAVE exposure was approximately $129.43K, 32.19K AVAX was worth about $205.7K, 24.413K LINK represented roughly $214.35K, and 277.819 ETH was valued near $469.77K. BNB was the largest listed purchase at about 1.007K tokens. The trader also retained more than $2 million in USDT, including a recent 12.028K USDT transfer and an earlier transaction of roughly 2.104 million USDT, leaving room for continued accumulation or defensive positioning.
Separately, market watchers pointed to Solana, Render and Chainlink as altcoins gaining renewed momentum. SOL traded near $229.96 with a market capitalization around $125.58 billion after an 11.08% weekly gain, supported by rising on-chain activity, stablecoin inflows and institutional interest. RNDR changed hands near $3.51 with a market cap near $1.82 billion and a 5.05% weekly increase, benefiting from AI-driven GPU demand. LINK traded around $22.75 after gaining 6.51%, with attention on CCIP adoption and institutional data demand.
Together, the dormant wallet's selective positioning and the broader altcoin momentum highlight renewed investor participation, though the retained USDT reserve shows caution and does not by itself confirm a market bottom.
