Kaito AI launched Kaito Pulse on Aug. 18, 2026, a browser extension that brings verified trading activity and reputation data directly into X's timeline. The launch also introduced Aura, a reputation layer that measures an account's true influence by cross-referencing posts with public positions and verifiable records on platforms such as Hyperliquid and Polymarket.
The rollout follows a data agreement between Kaito and X after earlier restrictions on incentivized posts. Pulse is intended to help investors distinguish traders with proven on-chain track records from accounts without operational backing, with future integrations planned for additional decentralized protocols.
Less than a day later, analyst Ultra published a source-code review alleging that Kaito Pulse can create a persistent device fingerprint using hardware signals, including GPU rendering of an invisible image, GPU model, and audio tone processing. The review claimed the extension logs extensive X activity, such as how long posts remain visible, clicks, follows, unfollows, searches, bookmarks, and a heartbeat every 30 seconds.
Ultra clarified that access to ChatGPT, Claude, and Binance occurs only when users initiate verification, and only attestations are logged. For Binance, the extension may navigate to positions and resend authenticated requests to obtain wallet balances, futures positions, P&L, and deposit/withdrawal history during verification.
The Chrome Web Store listing states Kaito does not sell collected data to third parties outside approved uses and uses zero-knowledge TLS proofs. As of Aug. 19, Kaito had not publicly responded to Ultra's claims. The privacy concerns echo earlier tension around Kaito's Yaps system, which was ended after X prohibited apps that reward users for posting content.
