Ondo Finance is facing a pivotal technical test as its native token ONDO trades near $0.3279, inside a descending channel that has defined price action for months. The token holds a market capitalization of about $1.59 billion and daily trading volume around $63 million, according to market data cited on Aug. 21, 2026. Buyers are attempting to defend the $0.30 support zone, which analyst Crypto Zee describes as a critical daily level.
If the support holds, Crypto Zee sees potential upside toward $0.45, with a breakout above the descending channel potentially strengthening bullish momentum. Another analyst, MikyBullCrypto, has highlighted $0.50 as a further target, contingent on sustained buying pressure and stronger market activity. However, ONDO remains roughly 85% below its previous record high of $2.15, according to CryptoPatel. A breakdown below $0.30 could invalidate the recovery setup and expose the token to deeper losses.
Meanwhile, Ondo’s tokenized stocks have surpassed $1 billion in total value, data from the RWA Foundation shows, reflecting increasing demand for on-chain exposure to traditional equities. The platform’s total value locked has reached $3.48 billion across 11 blockchains, with Ethereum accounting for approximately $1.88 billion, more than half of the total. The milestone strengthens Ondo’s position in the real-world asset sector, even as short-term price action remains under pressure.
