KuMining, the cloud mining platform operated by global cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin, announced on Aug. 25, 2026, the launch of KAS Cloud Mining, expanding its multi-asset proof-of-work mining ecosystem. The new product gives eligible users access to professional mining infrastructure for Kaspa (KAS), a Proof-of-Work blockDAG network, without purchasing, transporting, or operating specialized ASIC hardware.
Users can choose contracts ranging from 7 to 360 days and receive variable daily KAS mining output based on their purchased hashrate and applicable product rules. KuMining uses a pool-based model, which it says provides more continuous and observable output than probability-based solo mining. The product follows KuMining’s “mine first, pay electricity later” structure: users pay the hashrate fee upfront, while electricity charges are settled over time, reducing initial cash requirements without lowering total mining costs.
Jolie Du, Chief Operating Officer of KuMining, said the goal is to make mining “accessible to anyone who wants to participate,” while connecting professional infrastructure with everyday users. The integration with KuCoin allows users to receive and manage mining output without separately navigating mining pools, wallets, and exchanges. KAS Cloud Mining is now available to eligible users and furthers KuCoin’s Trade → Earn → Mine journey.
