XRP’s sharp rally has lost steam after a volatile week, even as sponsored cloud mining promotions from FTmining and UE Crypto circulate alongside market coverage. At the time of writing, XRP was changing hands near $1.44, compared with an opening price of $1.0014 on August 19. The token briefly climbed to roughly $1.69 before profit-taking pulled it about 12% below the weekly high, though it remained around 48% above the August 19 open.
The cooling follows a meeting between President Trump and industry representatives including Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse at the White House. Trump called on Congress to advance the CLARITY Act, which would allocate digital-asset regulatory authority between the SEC and the CFTC. That renewed regulatory optimism, alongside improved liquidity conditions, helped XRP surge 46% over seven days and pushed its market capitalization above $91 billion. However, the latest data from SoSoValue shows momentum fading, with XRP posting two consecutive daily declines and underperforming several top-ten digital assets. Liquidation concentrations around $1.55 and between $1.42 and $1.45 are now seen as potential near-term focal points.
Against that backdrop, two cloud mining platforms are using sponsored content to target holders of major cryptocurrencies. FTmining advertises plans starting at $15 with a claimed daily return of $0.75, scaling up to a $140,000 contract with an advertised $2,800 daily return. The platform says it is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and uses institutional-grade cold wallet storage. UE Crypto, which says it operates under European frameworks including MiCA and MiFID II, promotes a $20 trial reward and supports XRP, BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, DOGE, LTC, and SOL. Its advertised contracts range from a $100 two-day BTC plan to a $10,000 35-day BTC plan, with additional Dogecoin and Litecoin options.
