The Sui community will gather in Singapore on October 7-8, 2026 for Sui Basecamp 2026, held at Marina Bay Sands alongside TOKEN2049. The flagship annual event is set to focus on the rise of the agentic economy, covering instant settlement, autonomous payments, private transactions, stable digital dollars, and post-quantum security. Organizers say the program will bring together founders, builders, developers, investors, traders, and industry leaders for product reveals, technical deep dives, hands-on demos, and direct conversations about moving finance onchain.
Among the announced speakers are Raoul Pal of Real Vision, Adeniyi Abiodun and Kostas Chalkias of Mysten Labs, Hilmar Veigar Petursson of Fenris Creations and formerly CCP Games, Alex Mourfarek of Google DeepMind, Jen Zhu Scott of Power Dynamics, Brian Quintenez of Sui Holdings Group, and Richard Socher of Recursive and You.com. The event will also feature an AI Builder Lab, a Trading Arena with live trading on Hudi, and opportunities for builders and capital to connect across payments, data infrastructure, AI systems, wallets, protocols, and applications.
A major highlight will be a live Main Stage speed test on October 7, led by Mysten Labs Co-Founder and Chief Cryptographer Kostas Chalkias. The goal is to break Sui’s standing record of 6,086,766 transactions per second, set earlier on July 4th. Participants worldwide can submit TPS predictions for rewards of 10,000 SUI, 5,000 SUI, and 1,000 SUI for the top three places. Web3 security firm CertiK will serve as independent auditor, with a cryptographic transcript for post-test verification and formal reconfirmation.
