Havenex, an institutional crypto infrastructure platform linked to Sui co-founder Kostas Kryptos, is entering the final stages of its Series A funding round as it prepares to launch services aimed at traditional financial institutions.
The platform is designed to support both digital and traditional financial assets while meeting the regulatory, transparency and security standards required by banks and asset managers. Rather than competing directly with existing exchanges, Havenex focuses on underlying technology and services, including multichain support, custody solutions and quantum-resistant security keys. Kryptos, also co-founder of Mysten Labs, is set to serve in an advisory role, and Havenex plans to integrate Sui technology where appropriate to leverage its high throughput and low latency.
While specific funding amounts and investors have not been disclosed, the near-completion of the Series A signals investor confidence in institutional-grade crypto infrastructure. The project could accelerate integration of digital assets into traditional finance, though it still faces regulatory hurdles and competition from established players.
