A new technical outlook on XRP suggests the token may have already established its bottom and could be entering a fresh bullish trend, according to a widely followed crypto analyst. The analyst had previously expected XRP to fall toward the $0.87 price range, a target that appeared credible after several lower-low projections were met. However, that scenario has now changed as XRP followed Bitcoin's shift in market structure.
The same analyst had also called for Bitcoin to bottom near $40,000, but later revised the outlook by saying BTC could not drop below $54,000. Bitcoin subsequently surged to $80,000, and the analyst noted that a move above $82,000–$84,000 would confirm a bull market. He now believes the bear market has ended and the market is in the early stages of a new bull cycle.
If XRP is starting a new trend from the .786 macro level, the next wave could take XRP toward $1.78, completing the first five waves of subwave 1. A larger correction for wave 2 could then target $1.30, followed by subwave 3 targeting around $2.57. The full five-wave structure is mapped toward $2.90, which would still only complete wave 1 of a much larger macro wave 3.
The larger wave 2 that follows could bring XRP back toward $1.65, turning current resistance into future support. Under this scenario, XRP may not return to prices below $1.20 again.
