XRP is building a case to reach $3 before Bitcoin clears $100,000, according to a fresh ChatGPT-based market assessment. Bitcoin is trading near $79,560 and remains boxed below resistance between $82,000 and $84,000, while XRP is consolidating around $1.40 to $1.42 and needs to clear its first hurdle at $1.50.
XRP's catalysts are stacking up. U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $28.14 million in net inflows on August 26, capping a seven-session total of about $106 million and pushing cumulative net inflows above $1.4 billion. Ripple has also deepened institutional adoption through investments in ZILO and Licuido, a partnership with South Korea's Jeonbuk Bank, broader RLUSD usage, and tokenized real-world assets on the XRP Ledger surpassing $3 billion.
Evernorth, which holds XRP as part of its treasury strategy, moved closer to a Nasdaq listing after receiving SEC approval for its registration statement. Shareholders are expected to vote on the merger proposal on September 30.
From a technical perspective, ChatGPT noted that Bitcoin needs a roughly 26% gain to reach $100,000, while XRP needs about 111% to hit $3 from $1.42. However, Bitcoin remains stuck below its $82,000 to $84,000 supply zone, and its RSI has climbed above 82, signaling stretched short-term conditions. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have still attracted about $2.8 billion over eight sessions.
ChatGPT's assessment gives XRP about a 45% to 55% chance of hitting $3 before Bitcoin reaches $100,000, provided XRP reclaims $1.50 and breaks through the $1.70 to $1.90 zone. Longer-term, Standard Chartered has targeted $8 for XRP, while other 2027 forecasts cluster between $5 and $10.
