The latest Grok AI price model puts Bitcoin on a path toward $95,000 to $120,000 by the end of 2026, with a base-case close near $105,000. The model’s bull case follows eight consecutive sessions of exchange-traded fund buying that pulled roughly $2.8 billion of Bitcoin off the market. August ETF inflows have already exceeded $3 billion, with BlackRock’s IBIT capturing the largest share.
Two Washington catalysts are reinforcing the demand shock. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pledged on August 20 to at least double long-bond buybacks, helping Bitcoin reclaim $80,000 during a 23% weekly move. The Senate’s CLARITY Act cloture vote on September 15 could codify Bitcoin’s commodity status and reopen bank and allocator pipelines. The invalidation case combines a hawkish Kevin Warsh signal from Jackson Hole with a failed vote, which could push BTC back toward $60,000 to $65,000.
Technically, Bitcoin closed at $80,279, up 1.59%, with resistance at $80,820, $84,000 and $88,000. Support sits at $78,573, $72,000 and the $64,000 structural base. RSI is 82.09 against a signal line of 68.82, and the narrowing gap while price makes new highs is seen as constructive.
Beyond the spot market, Bitcoin Hyper is building a Solana Virtual Machine-based Bitcoin Layer 2, with HYPER used for gas, staking and governance. Its presale has raised more than $33 million and offers staking yields up to 35% APY ahead of a planned 2026 launch. Separately, BlockchainFX ($BFX) has ended its presale after raising $15 million and entered a pre-launch phase at a fixed $0.04 token price before a public launch at $0.05. Buyers using the LAUNCH80 code can receive an 80% token bonus before the pre-launch window closes.
