Shiba Inu Surpasses 1.8 Million Addresses Across Ethereum and Shibarium

Key takeaways:

  • SHIB's 1.84M multi-chain holders mask Ethereum dominance, making Shibarium growth critical for sustained sentiment.
  • SHIB rebound above $0.000005 needs a close over $0.00000540 as CPI keeps Fed-rate risk alive.
  • TREAT's 4,700 holders lag BONE and LEASH, signaling uneven ecosystem adoption despite SHIB's multi-chain push.

Shiba Inu has expanded its multi-chain holder base past 1.8 million addresses across Ethereum and Shibarium, according to data shared by community member Mazrael on September 12, 2026. The figure combines SHIB addresses from Ethereum and the project’s Layer-2 network Shibarium, moving beyond the single-chain total shown by Etherscan.

Mazrael responded to reports that Shiba Inu was approaching 1.7 million holders, while Etherscan counted about 1.689 million holders on Ethereum alone. He said, 'We are MultiChain. Shiba is everywhere. You need to add holders on all chains. With Eth and Shibarium alone we are actually above 1.8m addresses.' A screenshot from ShibWallet displayed a combined holder count of 1.84 million.

The wider Shiba Inu ecosystem also has footprints on both networks: BONE recorded 98,600 holders, LEASH 53,800, and TREAT 4,700. Ethereum remains SHIB’s primary home, while Shibarium continues to increase the ecosystem's on-chain presence.

On the price side, SHIB declined for four straight sessions before rebounding from a low of $0.000005 on Friday as the broader crypto market recovered. Traders looked past renewed Federal Reserve rate hike expectations after the August consumer price index rose 0.4% month over month and 3.4% year over year, matching Dow Jones estimates. SHIB reached $0.00000539 early Saturday, and a sustained move above $0.00000540 is seen as the next hurdle for recovery.
