Binance has officially expanded its traditional finance offering with the launch of ETF Wealth Management on September 15, giving eligible users access to an initial lineup of 11 U.S.-listed ETFs focused on cash management, short-term U.S. Treasuries, and investment-grade bonds. The product sits inside the exchange’s Earn section and is executed through Binance Stock Trading, which primarily uses USDC for securities purchases.
Binance divides the funds into three holding-period groups: Cash Management for periods under six months, Steady Income for six to twelve months, and Yield Enhancement for periods longer than one year. The exchange stated that the feature “is not a savings product” and offers no fixed returns, because ETF prices can fluctuate with interest rates, bond prices, credit conditions, and market liquidity.
Customers hold actual ETF shares and receive the corresponding economic benefits, including price changes and cash distributions where applicable. Behind the scenes, Nest Trading Limited acts as introducing broker and routes orders to Alpaca Securities LLC, which handles execution, clearing, settlement, and custody. Binance says it does not custody the securities. Nest Trading is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market, and users may receive SIPC protection of up to $500,000 per account, including a $250,000 cash claim limit in a brokerage insolvency. Binance also disclosed it may receive payment for order-flow remuneration.
The launch extends a direct securities service Binance introduced in June, when eligible users gained access to more than 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. By company-reported figures, users acquired more than $1 billion of U.S. equities within the first 30 days, producing nearly $3 billion in trading volume across 22 trading days. Binance said 73% of direct-stock customers came from emerging markets, while ETF participation represented 21.9% of Gen Z net equity inflows in July, up from 18.5% in June. Binance has also developed separate tokenized bStocks, and on September 1 it announced options on more than 1,000 selected U.S. stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading and Alpaca.
The ETF Wealth Management service remains subject to geographic restrictions, and Binance notes that securities services and individual features can vary by jurisdiction.
