Binance will temporarily suspend cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals on September 22, 2026 starting at 06:00 UTC while it upgrades its wallet infrastructure. The exchange said maintenance is expected to last about one hour, and spot and futures trading will remain available during the window.
According to Binance, users can manage their positions, but fund movements will be paused until the upgraded infrastructure passes stability and security checks. The exchange will not issue a separate restoration announcement, so users should monitor availability. Balances will remain secure across cold and hot storage, and the upgrade is intended to improve API performance and multi-signature wallet transaction processing throughput.
Separately, Binance will remove several trading pairs following periodic reviews. On September 18 at 03:00 UTC, four spot pairs—BREV/USDC, COOKIE/USDC, LA/USDC, and QNT/USDC—will be delisted due to liquidity, volume, and market quality considerations. At 06:00 UTC the same day, cross-margin pairs ENJ/USDC, GENIUS/USDC, CVX/USDC, GUN/USDC, and VANA/USDC will be removed, while GENIUS/USDC will also leave isolated margin trading.
Finally, on September 24 at 03:00 UTC, Binance will cease all Pax Dollar (USDP) spot markets. The underlying assets of the removed pairs remain available through other supported markets where applicable, but affected users should settle loans and review deadlines before the changes take effect.
