CoinsBee has reported that USDT (TRC-20) on the TRON network has become the most-used onchain payment option on its global crypto gift card platform, overtaking both Bitcoin and Ethereum in completed payments. According to the company’s 90-day analysis ending September 1, 2026, USDT on TRON processed approximately 1.8 times as many payments as Bitcoin and 1.9 times as many as Ethereum.
The stablecoin pair’s share of all CoinsBee payments rose to 16.23% in 2026 to date, up from 9.92% in 2025, a 64% increase. Within USDT activity, TRC-20 represented 44.6% of USDT payments but 64.5% of USDT turnover, indicating that the average TRON-based USDT purchase was higher in value than purchases made via other USDT networks.
CoinsBee says its platform reaches customers in more than 180 countries and supports purchases from over 5,000 brands using more than 200 cryptocurrencies. In the United States, the most-purchased brands with USDT on TRON included Amazon, Apple, AT&T, PlayStation, Uber, Macy’s, T-Mobile, Walmart, Sephora and DoorDash, covering retail, mobile connectivity, gaming, transport and food delivery.
To build on the trend, CoinsBee and TRON DAO are running a joint campaign from September 21 through October 5, 2026, offering a 2% discount to eligible CoinsBee mobile app users who pay with USDT on TRON using the code USDT-TRC. Iván Escamilla Rodriguez, Product and Growth Lead at CoinsBee, said the payment data gives a direct view into how people use stablecoins for everyday spending. Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson at TRON DAO, added that the collaboration gives users another way to use USDT for everyday purchases.
TRON DAO said the TRON blockchain hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether, currently exceeding $94 billion, and has recorded more than 405 million total user accounts, over 15 billion total transactions, and over $28 billion in total value locked as of September 2026.
