The XRP Ledger recorded a sharp expansion in on-chain activity in late September 2026, with account creation climbing 535.2% to roughly 2,900 and payments more than doubling to about 1.2 million, according to network activity dashboard data.
Active accounts rose 218.1% to approximately 15,300, while total transactions increased 138.7% to 2.4 million. Successful transactions grew 80.8% to 1.7 million, and payment volume jumped 894.3% to about 704.2 million XRP. However, the dashboard’s separate active users metric fell 70.6% to around 140,000, complicating the picture of whether network participation truly broadened; one entity can control multiple accounts, and automated services can generate large volumes of individual payments.
Additional XRPSCAN data showed 1,143,754 payments processed on September 27 alone, above the 30-day average of about 887,600. The broader ledger statistics displayed roughly 2.7 million transactions, 17,800 active accounts, and payment volume near $400 million. The number of AMM pools was cited at approximately 31,200 and rising, suggesting growing on-ledger liquidity infrastructure. Fee burn also increased 225.7% to roughly 300.3 XRP amid higher transaction activity.
On the price side, XRP recently rallied from about $1.28 to above $1.60, then corrected to around $1.49. Analysts identified the $1.45–$1.50 zone as the immediate battlefield; holding it could keep the breakout intact, while losing it may open a move toward $1.40 and then the $1.35–$1.37 moving-average support area. Resistance is seen near $1.55–$1.60, with the recent high around $1.65.
