Major crypto assets are retracing after last week's short rally, with Bitcoin, Cardano and Solana all facing nearby support and resistance levels that could shape their next moves before September 29 ends.
Bitcoin (BTC) has pulled back from about $87,000 on September 26 and now trades near $83,800. Most recent trading has been confined to the $82,500–$85,000 range that has been in place since September 23. A sustained push above $85,000 could reopen the path toward $87,000, while a break below $82,500 could bring $80,400 into view. On the 5-hour chart, RSI was at 50.475, Stochastic was elevated at 98.044, MACD was negative at -31.4, and Bull/Bear Power was -732.39, leaving the next move uncertain.
Cardano (ADA) is defending support within a broader uptrend that began in July. ADA has pulled back from its recent high near $0.26 and is trading mainly between $0.240 and $0.25. A move above $0.25 could put the $0.26 high back in focus, while losing $0.240 could expose $0.233. RSI was 48.076, Stochastic 37.583, MACD slightly positive at 0.001, and Bull/Bear Power -0.0088.
Solana (SOL) is attempting to recover after an early dip to around $116. It was trading near $118, with $120 acting as the immediate upside hurdle. A break above $120 could target $122 or higher, while a drop below $116.4 could send SOL toward $113. In a separate daily update, SOL traded near $117.50, about 5.7% below its September 27 high of $124.62, after failing to hold $120 and pressing below $118.75. The 4-hour Chaikin Money Flow turned negative at -0.15, highlighting increased selling pressure. Immediate support sits at $117, with $116.32 and $112.50 below. A recovery above $120.29 would refocus attention on the $124–$125 resistance area. Analyst Daan Crypto Trades noted that SOL flipped $117 resistance and could target $148 if that level holds, while another analyst, Batman, said SOL broke a rising trendline and needs to reclaim it to restore the earlier setup. CoinGlass liquidation clusters around $117, $121–$123 and $125–$126 add to the significance of these levels.
Overall, the market is in a consolidation phase with mixed technical indicators across the three assets. The immediate tests are whether BTC can break $85,000, whether ADA holds $0.240, and whether SOL can defend $117 while trying to reclaim $120.
