Bloomberg has launched a comprehensive stablecoin dashboard on the Bloomberg Terminal, providing institutional users with real-time onchain data covering supply, minting, burning, transfer volume and velocity metrics. The new screen, accessible via RWAS <GO>, went live on September 30 and is now available to all Terminal subscribers.
Powered by Allium, a blockchain data platform for enterprises, the dashboard integrates directly into the fixed income, foreign exchange and money market tools that Terminal users already employ. This eliminates the need for institutions to piece together data from disparate blockchain explorers and analytics platforms. The dashboard covers every stablecoin with more than $100 million in circulating supply, collectively representing over 98% of the stablecoin market, alongside select smaller and non-U.S.-dollar-pegged assets.
Stablecoins have grown into a $300+ billion market and serve as critical infrastructure connecting digital-asset markets with traditional finance. The dashboard's default view allows users to compare stablecoins side by side on supply, mints, burns, transfer volume and velocity, with current data refreshed hourly and historical series updated daily. Users can drill into individual stablecoins across blockchain networks, examine activity at the network level, or filter assets by peg type including fiat currencies, commodities and other stablecoins.
Matthew Parkinson, Bloomberg's global head of digital assets product, emphasized that stablecoins are becoming increasingly important in institutional digital asset markets, particularly as firms explore how cash and assets can move within tokenized financial infrastructure. Allium co-founder and CEO Ethan Chan noted that institutions want the same certainty in onchain data that they already have in traditional markets. Allium, which counts Visa, Coinbase and the Federal Reserve among its clients, brings experience in entity attribution and filtering to ensure adjusted, clean data.
The launch extends Bloomberg's decade-long digital-asset coverage, which began with Bitcoin pricing in 2014 and now includes spot pricing, reference data, identifiers and benchmarks for 50 institutionally relevant cryptocurrencies. The stablecoin dashboard adds a new dimension: market plumbing rather than just asset prices, giving institutions a unified surface to analyze issuance, redemption, settlement routes and the movement of tokenized cash alongside conventional Treasury yields and money-market conditions.
The product arrives amid tightening regulatory focus on stablecoins, including the European Central Bank's push to widen a stablecoin yield ban, and follows other market-data infrastructure launches such as DoubleZero's real-time Hyperliquid market data offering. Bloomberg has also collaborated with Kaiko to make its data available on the Canton Network, signaling a broader strategy to bridge traditional and tokenized market data infrastructure.
